What can The
Healing Place use?

We accept
donations of books, toys, men’s women’s or children’s clothing,
linens, major appliances, tools,
furniture and
electronics.
Gently used
items are of benefit. Items which no longer function, or are
worn out are of no use to The Healing Place or its clients.
When and where
can I drop off items?
Items may be
dropped off for donation at the men’s facility (near the
Farmer’s Market in Raleigh) or the women’s facility (near
Umstead Park on Highway 70) 24 hours per day, 7days per week.

Does The Healing
Place pick up items?
Yes, we pick
up items Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Fridays
between
12:30-1:00 pm. Please be aware that we
charge a $20 "pick-up" fee. (If the items are to be removed from
upstairs rooms or if non-donated furniture needs to be moved we
charge an additional $20 to $40 fee for a total of $40 to $60).
We would like
to, but we are unable to pick up items on the weekends.
We are unable
to accept some very large or very heavy items (large pool tables
or pianos)
